An ugly scene broke out between Cowboys and Eagles fans on Sunday during Dallas’ primetime victory over Philadelphia.
In footage shared on social media, two fans can be seen trading blows within the concourse of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where the Cowboys defeated its loathed rival, 33-13.
The two fans began punching one another while standing before tussling onto a table at a nearby sports memorabilia stand, where the swings continued.
A crowd of Eagles and Cowboys supporters gathered around the melee, which then spilled onto the ground.
That’s when the fan in a navy Cowboys top seemingly got the upper hand over their opponent — whose shirt had nearly come off during the scuffle — with the two back on their feet and the Dallas supporter still swinging.
It’s unclear what started the skirmish.
Sunday was a miserable night for Philadelphia all around, with the Cowboys knocking the Eagles out of the top spot of the NFC East.
Both teams hold regular-season records of 10-3, but Dallas has a divisional record of 4-1 whereas Philadelphia is currently 3-1.
The Eagles have two divisional matchups remaining, both against the Giants on Dec. 25 and Jan. 7, 2024.
The Cowboys dominated the Eagles from start to finish, with quarterback Dak Prescott completing 24 of 39 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
“Solid enough to get the win,” Prescott said postgame. “I’ve told you before, I’m my biggest critic. Obviously, not my best game. … Did enough to win, but I always want to do better.”
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believed Sunday’s win was a “monumental game” for Prescott, who has thrown for 28 touchdowns against six interceptions this season.
“Everybody who follows the NFL knew that he had a lot of the expectation as to how he was going to perform and how he was going to meet this challenge. The ever overhang of well, did he do it with the right competition? I don’t mean to sound condescending. That’s fair. He did tonight, and he did it in a very efficient way against a team as good as we’ll play. . . . But I think that we’ll go as far as Dak will take us,” Jones said.
